　新緑の美しい峠の鳥見その２です。ここではたくさんの鳥たちに出会いました。
The bird watching at a beautiful mountain pass surrounded by hew leaves part-2. There, we met a lot of birds.



まずこの子はゴジュウカラ。キバシリ同様動きが早くてスルスルと木に幹を登り降りするのでなかなか写真を取るのが難しい子です。
This is a Eurasian Nuthatch. Like a treecreeper, it is fast and swiftly climbs up and down the tree trunks, so it is quite difficult to take a photo of it.




この子は多分...ヒガラ。喉の下の三角のお髭があるのがヒガラ。カラ類で一番小さな子です。
Probably a coal tit. Coal tit has triangular black part which looks like whiskers under its throat. It is the smallest among the Tits.


この子も多分ヒガラ。Probably a coal tit also.


この子は喉の下の三角がまだはっきりしてないので多分ヒガラの....ワカ？
The triangle under the throat is not yet clear, so it's probably a young coal tit?


この子はコガラ。ヒガラよりちょっとだけ大きいですがシジュウカラよりは小さいです。
Willow Tit. A little bigger than a coal tit but smaller than a great tit.








この子はソウシチョウ。中国から観賞用として持ち込まれましたが、それが逃げ出して（いわゆるかご抜けどり）野生化したもの。日本の固有種ではないで、生態系に悪影響を与える可能性があると心配されているようです。
Peking robin or Chinese Nightingale. It was brought from China as pet, but escaped from the cage and became wild. It may have a negative impact on the native ecosystem.









大抵はカップルでいますがどちらがオスかメスかは区別がつきません。
They usually live in pairs, but it is difficult to tell which is male and which is female.

　新緑の美しい峠に鳥見に出かけました。半年ぶりです。
We went bird watching at a beautiful mountain pass. There, new leaves were just coming out and fresh green were everywhere. It was the first visit to see birds in six months.


峠で出迎えてくれたのはコルリ。Siberian Blue Robin welcomed us at the pass.


お腹の白と背中のブルーの対比が鮮やか。The contrast between the white of the belly and the blue of the back is beautiful.








正面から見ると丸っこくてなんともひょうきん。コルリは足長。体と同じくらいが長いです。
Seen from the front, it looks round and quite funny. The Siberian Blue Robin has long legs, which are as long as its body.




こちらはキバシリ。その名の通り木の幹を素早く駆け上がり、あっという間に登りきって見えなくなってしまうでのでなかなか写真に撮れません。コルリを待つ間に何度も来ました。
Eurasian Treecreeper. As its name suggests, it quickly runs up the tree trunk and disappears from view in an instant, so it's hard to take a photo of it. It came by many times while I was waiting for the Siberian Blue Robin.


この日は何度も同じ木を駆け上ってくれたのでたくさん撮れました。どうもゴジュウカラがこの木のウロに虫を隠しているのに気がついて、それを横取りしに来ていたようです。
On this day, he or she ran up the same tree many times, so I was able to take many photos. It seems that he had noticed that the Nuthatch was hiding insects in the hollow of the tree, and had come to steal them.






動きの素早いキバシリをこんなにはっきり撮れたのは初めて。
This is the first time I saw and captured such a clear shot of a fast-moving treecreeper.


真打登場。なかなか立派です。The main act, no main bird appeared. Quite impressive.

Wilayat村ではもうアカハララケットカワセミに出会うのは無理と見切りをつけて車で30分ぐらいのKlabili 村に来ました。時間が無いの急いで荷物を置いて、徒歩で森へ。Klabili Birdwatching Park という看板のある脇道に歩いて入りました。
We gave up to see Red-breasted Kingfishers in Wilayat Village and drove about 30 minutes to Klabili Village. We were in a hurry because we didn't have much time, so we quickly left my luggage and walked to the forest. We walked into a side road with a sign that said Klabili Birdwatching Park.


暗い森でしたがとうとう会えました。
　It was dark in the forest but we finally saw it.






ガイドのAbsalom と　Pamusが一生懸命あっちだこっちだと探してくれました。
Our guides, Absalom and Pamus, searched everywhere and found some for us.








背中の飾りバネ(?)を膨らませて盛んに鳴いてくれました。
It puffed out the ornamental feathers(?) on its back and chirped enthusiastically.


ここには何羽か居たのでで、初めからここに連れてきてくれればよかったのにとつくづく思いました。
There were some here, so we really wished they had brought us here from the beginning.





　そうこうするうちに空が急に暗くなって雨が来るからカメラをしまうように言われてもなかなか諦めきれず粘ってさらに何カットか撮り、カメラバッグに納めた途端に土砂降り。これぞ熱帯のスコール。カッパは持っていてもほとんど役立たず。カメラバッグはガイドがビニール袋に入れてくれてともかく保護。人はずぶ濡れになって宿に戻りました。
　In the meantime, the sky suddenly darkened and our guide told us to put our cameras in the bag because rain was coming, but we were reluctant to give up and took a few more shots. Just as we had put the camera in the bag, it started pouring. A true tropical downpour. Our raincoats were of little use. Our guide put our camera bags in plastic bags to protected our cameras. We returned to the inn soaked.

さて、なんとかかろうじて撮影はできたけど、初日にSorongから持ってきた食料はWilayat 村に置いてきたので私たちにはSorongから呼んでいる車が食料を持ってやってくるまで食料がありません。予定を変えてもすぐ対応できないのはここでは普通。結局宿の人がご飯と質素なおかずを用意して夕食としました。
Anyway, we managed to take some photos, but we left the food we brought from Sorong on the first day in Wilayat village, so we had no food until the car we were calling from Sorong arrived with our food. It was natural that it's difficult to respond immediately to the changes. In the end, the people at the inn prepared rice and simple side dishes for dinner.

　翌日の11/10、４日目。本当なら午前中鳥見ができるはずだったのですが、かのLion Airがまたしても予定を変え、Sorong 発 14:45の便がなんと１０：５０に変更。この半日があればまだゆっくり撮影できたはずなのに残念無念。心残りでしたが早朝村を離れました。
The next day, November 10th, was the fourth day for red-beasted paradise kingfisher. We were supposed to be able to do some bird watching in the morning, but Lion Air changed their plans again, changing the flight from Sorong at 14:45 to 10:50. If we had had half a day more, we could have taken our time taking photos, but unfortunately, we had to leave early in the morning. It was a shame.

この日はマカサーに一泊。行きに出会った少女と再会。またまたバナナとマンゴーをもらってしまいました。残念ながらもうあまり食べる時間がなかったので半分いただ来ました。
　翌朝、シンガポール経由で11/12朝帰国しました。みのり多い良い旅でした。
　　We stayed overnight in Makassar that day. We were reunited with the girl we had met on the way to come at the cafe. Once again, she gave us bananas and mangoes. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to eat them all so we only had half of them.
The next morning, I returned home on the morning of 11/12 via Singapore. It was a fruitful and enjoyable trip.
